i think i might have diabetes can u tell me if u think i do or not? alright so my feet and ankles r always swollen at night and im always thirsty and getting up to go to the bathroom 5-10 times at night could this be a sign of diabetes? also im a 13 year old girl i dont know if that makes a difference sorry i meant question Yes these are signs of diabetes. Get a blood test to find out for sure. Better safe than sorry. not especially....could be you are consuming to much liquids in the evening....or caffeinated drinks which can make you pee a lot......are you overweight, could that be the reason behind the swollen ankles....to be certain you will need to see Dr and have blood glucose testing done. Check your blood sugar. Swollen ankles can be a sign of kidney problems often caused by diabetes. these are all symptons of diabetes. If you have a weight problem this could also be metabolic syndrome. the only way to be sure is with a blood test. if you had diabetes, i would think that if you ate a lot of sugary stuff you would go into shock, or pass out... go to see your doctor immediate |
