For all people who know about Diabetes.? |
Ok look i am a 16 year old person who is an orphan i found my dad and found out that he has diabetes. Can every one give me any infirmation on what diabetes dose and what it is made up of pls any one contribute any information you got on diabetes i will work for as long as it takes to find a cure for this....thanks for helping. There are shots, pills, and pumps to give the medication. each person has his or her own dosage and it has to be worked out by the patient and the doctor. There is a lot to know and it is impossible to tell everything here. but it is a disease that can hit at any age and takes a toll on not just one organ, but the entire body, all organs, even the skin will be affected. It can cause blindness and kidney disease, heart problems, you name it. The blood sugar is to be kept at a normal level and exercise and diet and medication all work together. Most likely, your father will have to take medicine his entire life. My best advice is to go on line and get all the information you can and it's mind boggling. Be ready to take forever to learn everything. New things pop up all the time. And most of all, pray for a cure. I've had it nearly 40 years and I am still learning.
