Are the diabetes dangerous to children? |
Are the diabetes dangerous to children? Elaborate...im not sure what you are asking...Diabetes could potentially be dangerous to children if not treated. Be more specific about what you want to know...i am a diabetic and i have been since i was 10...let me know and i will answer all of your questions...Moreover, this was posted in infectious diseases and Diabetes is not an infectious disease meaning that you cannot get diabetes from touching someone, coughing on someone, kissing someone etc... I have two grandchildren, ages 7 and 4. They were both diagnosed with diabetes 2 years ago. It is a very serious disease. They have to take 4 shots of insulin a day. If they do not get the right dose they can die. They have to eat at regular times and the right portions. Their pancreas does not produce the insulin their body needs. Without the insulin shots they both would not be able to live. So the answer to your question is Yes, it is very dangerous to children and adults. |
