Diabetes question, nausea, vomiting, weakness? |
Last weekend while camping I felt nauseated and vomited all day was weak and wanted to sleep all day. Had forgotten my glucometer. Was my glucose low or high with these symptoms? Your blood glucose was high. Always remember to take your glucometer with you. Mine never leaves my purse. most likely high, but you need to make sure you have your meter with you all the time to test. sometimes the symptoms of low blood sugar can mimic high numbers too. i have that happen sometimes where i'm feeling like they're high, and i test and my blood sugar is low. Fatigue and wanting to sleep indicates high blood sugar. Vomiting is very serious for any diabetic. You could have been severly dehydrated along with high blood sugar. This can quickly lead to a life threatening condition. |
