For people who have diabetes, what do you find hardest about it? |
For people who have diabetes, what do you find hardest about it? This would depend on who you are asking. We are all individuals and we all have our own barriers to cross. Are you asking about Type I or Type II diabetes? Yea, the whole oh you can't eat that and here have this instead of having what everyone else is having! Also when you change your basal or something, having to wake up every night at 4 isn't fun. But other then that, I do quite like it, measuring food is annoying, and hypo's feel disgusting, but it could be lots worse. i agree with teeners that does annoy me, I can never forget that I'm a diabetic. Knowing that it will never end. That I'll be a diabetic and that NOT dealing with it will lead to complications and an early death. I HAVE to think about it every day. Thinking about it 24-7 that I can't eat when I want or when I'm hungry if my diabete is high |
