How bad is diabetes for Nick Jonas? |
How bad is diabetes for Nick Jonas? He is a type 1 diabetic and uses an insulin pump for his meds. from what i understand it was pretty bad before he was diagnosed...when he was diagnosed his sugar was over 600...now he wears an insulin pump called the omni pod that gives him insulin and helps him stay at a healthy level....but i imagine he has bad days like all diabetics do! but he is such an inspiration too all people with diabetes....i give him a lot of credit for not letting it slow him down... i think he has it pretty well under control now On November 16, 2005 he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This is a situation where all the insulin seceting cells in the pancreas are destroyed. So he has to be on insulin ( pills will not work)- either by injecting himself or by infusion pump Diabetes is bad for everyone. Are you saying that he has them and are wondering how bad he has it? I think unless you personally know him or unless he posts it somewhere then we will never find out how bad they are. ok for all you people that say this is "wrong" no its not! he does have diabetes and its not bad for me so why would it be bad for him..so all you people that say this fact is wrong ur wrong! there is no such thing as a bad case of diabetes it is bad but he has a lot of support and help and he has this thing on his arm to calculate his blood pressure and others but he'll be fine. he ok now. whaaaa ? he has diabetes ? I didnt know he was a type 1 diabetic... so is my 4 year old she will be excited to hear this she loves them :O) It's not any worse for him than it is for anyone else. Dude Nick doesnt have diabetes. |
