If i had diabetes and took steroids would iget sick?

If i had diabetes and took steroids would iget sick?

Steroids are like insulin inhibitors, they make it so that your body can not use insulin effectively and needs to use much more than normal for processing/using sugars in the blood. So can you get sick from steroids? Yes! Higher sugars lead to higher risk of bacterial infections, organ damage, vision problems, etc, not to mention the risk of going in to ketoacidosis!

Steroids have been known to cause diabetes. I would avoid them.

steroids have so many side effect after treatment.

too high sugar u can go into a diabetic coma.. rare conditions ya die..

steroids will make your blood sugar higher
