Could these be signs of diabetes? |
Starting yesterday, I was REALLY thirsty. I drank a ton of water, because I thought that I was just dehydrated. Later, I felt really dizzy, and out of it, so I went to bed. Woke up with the same feeling, stood up too fast and kind of lost vision for a few secs. I've been drinking a TON of water, and I try to stick to a healthful diet. My grandmother also had juvenile diabetes. Also have been irritable, and far-sighted vision has appeared blurry at times. Go to the Dr. not a bunch of teens. I had a lot of those same symptoms and I went to the doctor and he thought it was diabetes and so they made me take a blood test and I didn't end up having diabetes, but if diabetes runs in your family you're at a higher risk. I'd go to a doctor and get tested - that's the only way you could no for sure. more likely, you just let yourself get too dehydrated. thirst is not the only symptom of diabetes. However, because of your familial history, would suggest you see a doctor and get tested. could be a possibility go to your doctor and get checked out soon diabetes can do havoc on your body with out the right meds. and check ups. well diabetics usually have more symptoms than that. Those are not typical symptoms of diabetes. |
