Recently diagnosed Type ll Diabetes. Taking Avandia. Prescribed Metformin, should I take it? |
I have been able to control my blood suger level with a good diet and exercise. I'm at 109 I would like some feedback. I don't like the side effects of the Metformin. You will need less medicine with this and will not need merformin. You need to talk to your doctor about not taking any medication at all if you can keep your diabetes under control by diet and exercise. If you are really doing a steady job of keeping your blood sugar under control, I bet he's likely to stop the meds and see how you do. It would be better to read this before deciding which one should you take |
