Poll do you think they will find a cure for both types of diabetes? hopefully yes There can be no cure for Diabetes type 2 simply because it is directly related to life style, in particular cellular nutrition, stress management, excercise and appropriate nutritional supplements. However, some individuals, no matter how prudent may not respond to the above because of maldgestion and/or an imbalance in cytochrome P450, which if imbalanced up and down regulates medications foods etc, with consequent up and down regulation of endocrine functions. Type 1 diabetes is the more likely to 'cured' either by genetic engineering, or by the possible use of islet cell transplants. Type 2 is multifactorial and much more related to lifestyle, it is therefore less likely to have a straightforward 'cure'. I think so. I don't think it's because of a lack of understanding of what's going on, but rather not sure how to go about fixing it. I hope so my friend suffers terribly from it. |
