Besides Diabetes and Hypoglycemia...?


is there any of reason I wouldn't be able to handle caffeine nor sugar out of the blue....?. ( I'm 28, and it kind of hit me when i turned 27.. I went to the doctors and they found nothing wrong with me)..

Sugar is a nasty thing. It give you a real rush for about 90 minutes then !BAM! you crash! Caffeine just adds to the problem.

This is normal. Cut out the sugar and caffeine in your diet. Drink caffein-free diet colas, and then only 1 or 2 a day. stay away from sports drinks (like Gator-ade) and Energy drinks (nothing BUT sugar and caffeine).

Stay out of the vending machine. If you need a snack, bring some carrots or celery-and-cream-cheese from home, or an apple and some cheddar cheese.

Drink more water. Not tea, colas, and coffee, but water. Tap waters is fine, but bottled water if yoiu need to.

For meals, eat more pastas and salads (carbs and fibers). Carbs are harder to digest, and the fiber makes it more so. This evens out your blood sugars over teh day so that you don't get as hungry AND you have more energy overall.

I don't know about caffeine, but some people can become quite sensitive to sugar. Many years before I was diabetic I found that my body responded rather strangely to sugar: if I ate too much I got sleepy, and if I went without a regular sugary snack I got dizzy. Refined sugar is called the white death for a reason!
