Help w/ Diabetes!!!? |
I got Diabetes when I was only 11. I'm 17 now. The thing is, I always forget to either take my shots or measure my sugar. What is something I can do to help me remember? Well, it stinks that you can't feel it. I'm diabetic as well. I'm 14 years old, and have had since i was 4. So it's all i know, so i can imagine it's harder for you to adjust. Get a watch to set alarms on. or get an insulin pump. Maybe you could get a continuous glucose monitoring system that u wear so when ur sugars get high or low it will wanr you. That way if u forget, the monitor will remind you. Do you have a cell phone? Most have alarms you can set throughout the day. If you dont get a watch with an alarm and use that to remind you. |
