its just the past few days my blood sugar in the morning is good 120 and 2 hours later it goes up to 300.. its really quite distressing. Is there anything I can do to prevent this>? increase my basal rate ive done that and talked to my dr.. Im just concerned about the higher sugar levels after a meal.. ive been a type 1 diabetic all my life since i was 4.. does anyone have any tips for me that can help me so that it doesnt climb after meals.. The morning is the worst time for those of us with diabetes. Mine would do the same thing a few days in a row it turned out I was pinching the tubing just right for the insulin to not get to me, try ajusting your pump then sleeping durning the night You may want to check out a product called Genome Multiplex. A few people I know with diabetes use it and they say it works great. |
