I Am Thirsty Alot. But I'm Only 13.It Runs In My Family. What Are The Signs?????????????

SIGNS of DIABETES :

1. Polyphagia : You get hungry a lot

2. Polydipsia : You get thirsty a lot

3. Polyuria : Frequent urination

4. You can also feel lethargic and / or dizzy

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOU ?

You are most likely getting thirsty a lot because of the hot Summer days.

This is normal and is the first indication of dehydration.

You can drink plenty of water and should be fine.

In that case though you will experience frequent urination and that will be normal too.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO (since Diabetes runs in the family) :

1. Always eat right. Eat healthy food.

2. Watch your weight

3. Go to your doctor at least once a year. He will run tests to determine the glucose level in blood and urine. You can be called Diabetic only if those levels turn out to be higher than normal.

The following article will give you more info :
