I'm worried I may have diabetes?

Well today recently i have been drinking a very large volume of water per day.
In the past hour i drank about 4 pints of water and i am still thirsty, my mouth is dry and of course i am urinating frequently.
I am feeling quite lethargic and i do eat a lot of chocolate.
help?

hmmm...this is what I would do. It is really a pain but go to the doctor and ask for the test where they give you a drink and then they test your blood. But it is important to do. If it shows up negative ask or the longer test.

I am diabetic and the doctors refused to acknowledge that till they gave me the test where I drink something sweet and an hour later had a blood test. They used to give me this blood test on the spot without the sweet drink and it was always normal when in fact I was diabetic. I guess they just caught me at a time when my sugar wasn't high.


For 16 you are very in tuned with your body...good for you! Make sure you stand up for yourself at the doctors appointment.

well if you are diabetic the chocolate is going to raise your blood sugars making you even thirstier so you should quite that asap til you are tested. also the symtoms you have now will only get worse until theyre unbearable and in the mean time some serious things could happen to your body in a bad way if you are diabetic and it goes untreated so be safe and get a blood and urine test

Check your blood sugar and lose the candy.
