Could I have diabetes? Whats the average times a person should pee?

Im a 16 year old girl with a high metabolism. I drink nothing all day, weigh 50 kilograms and do little sport. I eat high amounts of junk food and drink no water at all. I have been peeing alot latley... about 7-10 times a day. Could I be getting diabetes? How many times should I be peeing?

I have had it for about 1 month now...

you should urinate every two hours, but that would be because you are in fact drinking adequate amounts. If you are never drinking water and still urinating a lot, I would first suspect a bladder infection, but the second thought would be diabetes, especially if there is a history of it in your family. See a doctor.

There are basically two types of gene mutations in respect to disease. One type of mutation causes a disease. For example, the mutant gene may cause achrondroplasia (a form of dwarfism) or it may cause hemophilia or cystic fibrosis or sickle cell disease. The existence of genes that cause diseases has long been recognized.

The other type of gene mutation does not directly cause a disease but rather predisposes to it. These genes make a person susceptible to developing a disease. These susceptibility genes often involve common chronic diseases such as diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis.
