Is a certain blood type more succeptable to getting diabetes or certain illness?

I was just wondering if there was ever a study? Diabetics, what is your blood type, just a interesting question?

Thanks

Like the first answerer Im A pos...are we looking at a trend here....lol; Source(s): type 2 diabetic;
I'm an A pos, and I don't think there is any connection between blood type and diabetes. There is a strong connection between body weight, lower abdomen fat, and diabetes. Every person has a certain threshold weight that if you go below it, will cure diabetes. I've lost 20 pounds in two months since my diagnosis, and my last blood test was nearly perfect (with medication).
No, there is no correlation.
More than 11 million Americans suffer from type 2 diabetes.
It is a irreversible disease,nothing to do with any illness or blood type.
