If I have high blood pressure also type 2 diabetes also stage 4 renal failure can I QUALIFY FOR SSI SOCIAL DI? My mother has a heck of a lot worse than you, and she's been waiting for a SSD for almost 2 years. Sure, you can apply, but it will probably take forever for you to have a hearing. Good Grief, you poor thing. You certainly deserve to get it. Apply for it at your nearest Social Security Office. If you don't get it, see a lawyer, one that specializes or wins a lot of these cases. you might qualify due the the renal failure high BP can be controlled by diet, exercise and medications so can Type 2 diabetes Good Luck be aware that most are turned down a few times, be persistent You don't "deserve" any money stolen from anyone else, you socialist bastard. Your health problems, however unfortunate, do not warrant extortion of your neighbor. And hiring a lawyer to fight for your "right" to other people's hard-earned money? You sick freak. I really don't see why not but you need to hurry up and file so they can get it started. I do! I am only 32 years old and I have been getting SSDI for 3 years. I was legally blind at one time and I had alot of stuff done to my eyes because of my diabetes! I made my SSDI application over the phone and then had to see a few doctors. I was denied the first time but the second time I was approved and I did not use no attorneys! If your denied the first time just refile to try again. Good luck to you and your health. type 1 diabetic for 20+ yrs. Usually, having type II diabetes and hypertension won't 'qualify' you for SSD. However, they can greatly affect your health; and it seems they have; are they the cause of your renal failure? Do you receive dialysis? Best thing to do is to apply for benefits; you can do it on-line or you can apply at your local Social Security office. There is likely to be a denial or 2 or even 3, so be prepared to persevere. However, if you've fought with the blood pressure and the diabetes and renal failure, PERSEVERENCE is in your blood and you deserve SSD. |
