a multiple vitamin, calcium, and folic acidOmega 3-6-9 EFA's to reduce inflammation, antioxidants such as Vitamin C and E, Folic Acid, Magnesium, and a multivitamin.

Since diabetics (Type 1's especially) have a higher risk of osteoporosis, they should add a calcium and Vitamin D supplement.

Type 2's can add chromium to help decrease insulin resistance. Fibre supplements can also be beneficial for Type 2 diabetics, especially those who are not on meds and need to lose weight.

and I suggest also two 500 mg cinnammon capsules daily.
Cinnammon helps to keep blood sugar regulated, but that doesn't mean you don't take your meds.
My son has diabetes and was taking four or five shots daily, but since we started him on the capsules he's down to two or three shots a day.
You also need to rest when you can.
Take good care of your feet, clean, dry and protect them.
DO NOT drink alcohol..
