My foster mom has pain in her feet from diabetes. what should i tell her to do?

Its neuropathy, and i have it slightly, it changes sometimes with what you eat, she needs to lose weight or get to a good weight, exercise, and watch her carbs, even walking 6 blocks can lower yer blood sugar, I also take "" elavil "" to get rid of neuropathy and its a life saver for me.
