Why am I so thirsty? Not sure it is diabetes?

I have no family history of diabetes. I have no risk factors for diabetes. I am healthy and at my perfect weight.

But, my thirst over-rules hunger and all I can think of is needing more water. Sometimes I skip meals because I am full from drinking water.

I am not overly active, just a stay at home mom.

That is one of the signs of diabetes. Alone it means nothing. get a blood test from your doc and find out. Source(s): http://www.diabetesinfoforyou.com...
What's the weather like over there. If it's just getting warmer, you're probably sweating more so you need to be more hydrated. Also, take note of the food that you are eating, which can be a cause of your drinking so much water.
I saw this on one of the medical reality shows. See a doctor because you could be missing an enzyme or horomone.
Do you quench your thirst with water? If not, that may be the problem.
visit your doctor for a full medical workup.
