How sould i call if i think i have diabetes but no dr? |
i check all the thing that let you if you have diabetes and i just about checked almost all of them wat sould i do Contact your public health department they should be able to assist you with advise. Or the American Deabetic Assocation. They will also be a big help one thing you need to understand diabetes is a life long condition once you have it you can manage it. I have diabetes If you have no general practicioner I'd like to suggest going to the basic care unit at your local hospital and letting them know your symptoms. They'll run the tests required to give you a proper diagnoses and also refer you to a doctor that you can see regularly for your health concerns. Honestly you can get a very good quality accurate Blood meter to check your blood sugar at home, quite inexpensively. Get one, read the enclosed literature, check your blood sugar 4 to 6 times a day for several days. I f the readings are elevated ( in excess of 120, or if they vary substantially then it is time to get to a Dr. Do not mess around. Putting it off will not make it go away. It will cause irrevocable problems. |
