Exubera is a new rapidly-acting, dry-powder, inhaled form of insulin that was recently approved by the FDA for both type 1 and 2 diabetes. If you wish to look this up, it is a product of a collaboration between Pfizer and Nektar Therapeutics.
I believe it was an inhaled version.
