Is feeling the need to drink more water "at nights" a sign of diabetes?

Is feeling the need to drink more water "at nights" a sign of diabetes?

This is how my brother got diagnosed by complaining to his Doctor that at 27 he was suddenly having to get up 2-3 times a night to urinate....when they tested him, he had serious diabetes so worth a small test at Docs. Goodluck x
could be a sign of dehydration
Excessive thirst is, yes. Do you drink your 64 oz (approximately 2 liters) of water per day, and still feel the need to drink more at night? If you don't drink that much, it may be your body trying to signal that you need more water.
Not necessarily. Just an overall unusual thirst can be. If your concerned see your physician.
It could be, but best see your GP to have it checked out, before jumping to any conclusions. Good Luck..
I get thirsty at night too. Do you drink alcohol or have salty food before bed?that could be another reason.
better to be safe than sorry, get the doc to check you out.
