Has anyone experince an allergies reaction to any sugar free item being a diabetes?

is it possible to have a reaction to sugarfree items

My hubby is a diabetic, and I can't use his artificial sugars, as they make my mouth and tongue numb.

Mind you I have major food/drug and chemical allergies.
It could be the Sugar alochol that they use in place of sugar...it is known to giving cramping in stomach and other side effects.

Of course....many people are allergic to sugar substitutes.
I have been one for 33 tears and i can honestly say no i haven't had an allergic reaction ta any artificial sweeteners but my cousin did don't ask me what cause shes been gone for 6 years now and i count ask her. My daughter is diabetic also and so far so good. But I'm sure some people can have allergic reactions to sugar substitutes..... almost anybody can be allergic to almost anything.
