What causes bilateral sensory nerve loss to lower legs when labs are normal, and no diabetes? The best answer would be from your doctor or specialist in this area and you can also make a research on the net. I hope that you will find what is ailing you and get the appropriate treatment. Thank you for chosing my answer. :) http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/perip... peripheral vascular disease (PVD), which can be caused by a bunch of different causes. the website above is a good link to check out. any other areas of nerve loss? arms? trunk? lots of neurologic conditions can cause this - guillan barre syndrome, multiple sclerosis...etc. R.N. I have PAD (peripheral artery disease) that causes pain to the calf, numbness to the foot. Is caused by severly restricted blood flow. About 3.5 years ago, I had to have my left leg amputated because of this. I have it in my right leg now. DO not wait to get this checked out. The doc can check it easily with doppler to the foot or a blood pressure study to the leg. Not sure if that is what ails you of course. Could be any number of things. |
