I need to find a pro bono Dr. for a person with no insurance, who has diabetes, needs a liver transplant, etc? |
This Dr. needs to be in or around Harnett or Cumberland County North Carolina. At the very least someone to help him get his medicine. He has been turned down by disability. I am his cousin and him and his wife are only drawing food stamps. They have no income! They are living in a house I own. I have tried Health Dept, and a Care Program, but no one will help a chronic ill patient. He is 50 yrs old and in pain constantly, He also has gallstones, but they told him they couldn't remove his gall bladder because he might bleed to death! Please help! In return, they agreed to provide a reasonable volume of services to persons unable to pay and to make their services available to all persons residing in the facility鈥檚 area. The program stopped providing funds in 1997, but about 300 health care facilities nationwide are still obligated to provide free or reduced-cost care. http://www.hrsa.gov/help/default.htm...
