My daughter(33 ) is diabetic since 21 .is the insulin pump the right way to control unstables diabetes type 1?

My daughter is a tourism lycensee but currently have poor glycosilade hemoglobin levels because her difficulty to stabilize her glucose blood tests. She has troubles with her blood glucose levels ( hyper and hypoglucemies) apparently because of some predisposition to retain in a not suitable way the insulin she is shoting during the day and during every correction after a test,up to the moment when apparently all this insulint is suddenly delivered producing an strong hypoglucemy. After several changes in insulin types and the combination with oral hypoglucemients (metformina),her doctor is strongly recommending an insulin pump. could anybody comment experiences with this device and please tell me if somebody went thru a similar situation and how solve the problem?

working with diabetics on a daily basis i would say that the insulin pump may be the answer. keep in mind that if it does'nt work there are many other alternatives still out there.ask your / her doc why the emphasis of the pump most likely its for the good of your daughter
