Could someone give me a great diet for a newly diagnosed diabetic person? My Dad was just told he has diabetes Here is some information not only regarding diet, but also regarding a cure. Diabetes All diabetics have a common fluke parasite, Eurytrema pancreaticum, the pancreatic fluke of cattle, in their own pancreas. It seems likely that we get it from cattle, repeatedly, by eating their meat or dairy products in a raw state. It is not hard to kill with a zapper but because of its infective stages in our food supply we can immediately be reinfected. Eurytrema will not settle and multiply in our pancreas without the presence of wood alcohol (methanol). Methanol pollution pervades our food supply -- it is found in processed food including bottled water, artificial sweetener, soda pop, baby formula and powdered drinks of all kinds including health food varieties. I presume wood alcohol is used to wash equipment used in manufacturing. If your child has diabetes, use nothing out of a can, package or bottle except regular milk, and no processed foods. http://www.drclark.net/en/drclark_protoc... basically he just needs to eat every few hours and avoid high glycemic foods like white sugar, white flour (bleached breads, and pasta), and white rice, white vinegar, and alcohol. he should eat 6 to 8 times a day and have some source of protein at each meal and some healthy carbs like fresh fruits and vegetables. NOT TOO MANY STARCHES LIKE BREAD ALSO, HEARD THAT SAUER KRAUT HELPED STABLE BLOOD SUGARS ..ALSO, HEARD CINNAMON GOOD TOO!! USE DIET PRODUCTS !! low carb lots of salads there are great web sites you can find. but here is what i know, which isnt much..... no bread, pastas, starchy foods(corn, potatoes) grapes are very high in sugar !! good food...... all the protien and meat is ok, fresh salads without the dressing : great fresh fruit in moderation, no fat milk, no fat cottage cheese, no sugar added jello, no fried foods But never take my word as gospel. Always check with your personal doc to see if i am telling you the truth. hope this helps You should really consult his doctor for something as serious as this. Everyone has a different situations which requires different needs. Diet Guidelines http://www.diabetes911.net/readit/chapte... |
