I feel numbness in the fingures of my left hand when I wake up in morning? Is it a symptoms of diabetes? |
am 32, male. Height 5'10", Wight 74 kg Probably the 3 most likely things it would be [especially, taking your age, etc into consideration] are: 1. Sleeping on one side too much and cutting blood circulation to the hand on that side; 2. You have pinched a nerve in the neck, and although you may not notice anything in the neck, those vertebrae often transfer pain to the arm or/and hand 3. There is an outside chance you have early heart or angina problems. I have experienced episodes twice in my life where I needed heart attention. Both times were symptomatic re transfer of numbness - even dull pain, at times - down the left arm to the hand. If you were 20 years older, i may have been inclined to place this one first! I wouldn't expect diabetes, though; I have that too! Diabetes shows no such symptom. Its main symptoms are general lethargy or tiredness, thirst and needing to visit the toilet for urination purposes regularly! You might have simply slept on your hands in the middle of the night. You should consult a doctor about diabetes if there has been a history of that in your family? The numbness could be caused by bad slleping posture. You could be unknowingly sleeping on your hand. I dont think its Diabetes.Symptoms of Diabettes include Excessive Urination, too much thirst and a constant feeling of hunger, even after eating lots of food. I shouldnt think so, you are probably just sleeping on your hand and it is going numb from lack of circulation.....dont sleep on your hands my friend. I dont think you have much to worry about i regards to diabetes either, looking at your statistics. im a nurse. You may have pinched a nerve. Numbness could also have to do with high blood pressure or heart disease. Do you have other symptoms of diabetes? When in doubt, go to your doctor so your mind can rest at ease! could be a lot of different things you need to go see a doctor |
