Will I be getting diabetes?

I used to like sugar, but now sometimes I feel sick of it, if I feel like I had to much. I'll crave for a coffee, for example, and then one sip of it and I feel turned off because of the sugar but I can't drink coffee without cream and sugar. I can't tell when it happens, but suddenly I'll be like yuck! I can't stand sugar.

Diabetes isn't caused by sugar. It's a problem having the body create enough natural insulin to use the sugar digested properly. One major factor in diabetes is being overweight, but that means there is a larger body mass for the insulin already produced to handle. SO, if you eat lots of sugar and your body produces enough insulin AS IT SHOULD, you will be fine. However, if your body DOESN'T produce enough insulin anyway, it will be more likely for diabetic symptoms to show. Source(s): I have diabetes
It wouldn't hurt to get your sugar level checked out. Better to catch it early.
There is a higher risk of developing Type II diabetes if you are owerweight because the increased amount of body fat inhibits insulin production.

Warning signs that you might be having diabetes Type I include weight loss and increased thirst.

I haven't heard that a dislike of sugar is a symptom or bears a risk of diabetes
I am not an expert on the subject, but I would say that your sudden disdain for sugar could be your body's natural defense telling you that it doesn't need any sugar. I feel your pain, because I'm a sugar lover too. Try using sugar substitutes. Try several until you find one that's right for you. Some of them do the trick, without the sweet or after taste.
*yells in frustration*
