Im wondering if I can hold out a week or is there anything I can do to make myself feel better? Please Help Some symptoms Ive got: Headaches Weakness Joint pain Fatigue Rapid Heartbeat HELP! Matthew, These could be symptoms of diabetes or something else entirely. Is there a walk-in clinic/urgent care center you could go to instead of waiting on your doctor to be back? Good luck. those could be symptoms of various ailments not necessarily diabetes, I'd say wait for the Doc before you panic, in the meantime check out this website http://diabetescontrolforlife.com/index.... If you have rapid heart beat you should be going to the hopital now. You shouldn't put this off till next Monday. are you over weight? Type II diabetes comes from eating too much sugar and you are overweight from years of eating a lot of sugar. Type I diabetes your born with and is diagnosed early in life. the rapid heart beat needs imediate attention.. the others could be linked to something else and rest would help the other symptoms but you need attention now If you're feeling very ill then consider going to either a medical clinic or hospital emergency room. Most doctors make arrangements with other doctors to take their calls if they are out of the office. Call your doctor's office and see if the answering service can recommend another doctor for you. Diabetes can be serious if not dealt with promptly so don't take chances especially if you also have weight loss, unusual thirst and frequent urination. The 2 major signs of diabetes is excessive thirst and frequent urination. It sounds like you have something else to me,definitely see your doctor soon. |
