2 years after having Lasik surgery my eyes are dry all the time. Does anyone else have the same issue?

I'm finding myself dependent on Visine to alleviate the dryness.

Lots of people, but only a small percentage of the number having Lasik.
(the numbers opting for Lasik are very high, so the two statements do not contradict)

Ordinary Visine is not really intended for prolonged regular use, in fact it can cause rebound redness if so employed. A lubricant without vasoconstrictor would normally be recommended. Visine's dry eye formulation *is* suitable for repeated use.
Alcon's Systane is the most effective as reported by my patients (UK product)

Beyond lubricants, blocking the tear ducts can afford more prolonged relief. This can be done temporarily with punctal plugs as a trial, and if successful more permanent plugs can be inserted, or the ducts surgically closed.

I had Lasik about two years ago. Prior to the surgery, I bought the recommended eye drops, in anticipation of experiencing dry eye. Even right after surgery, I didn't use them. I have experienced no troubles after surgery. I hope things get better for you......
