My eyes are very dry, red and painful. I cannot wear contacts very long or just not at all...? |
I've tried eyedrops and i have even stayed off wearing my contacts for days at a time. What is the matter and what can I do? See your optometrist. Do not mess with your eyes. I know two people who have been hospitalised with the symptoms you describe. One was lucky not to have permanent damage. probably cause you slept in them I have dry eyes and can't wear contacts for extended periods of time. There are some brands of contacts made specicially for those with dry eyes. Check with your eyecare professional. Have you tried switching brands of contacts &/or solution? My eyes could not tolerate lenses at all until I switched to Acuvue Oasys lenses. They are awesome & I can wear them for 12-14 hours/day without even feeling them! I have dry and wear hard contacts-from personal experience |
