Is it ok to use Renu Multiplus contact solution directly in your eyes for eye drops if they are dry?

I wouldn't recommend it. The solution is designed for cleaning the contact lens. A small amount is okay, but not for constant use for the purpose of dry lenses.

See your optometrist. Do not mess with your eyes. I know two people who have been hospitalised with the symptoms you describe. One was lucky not to have permanent damage.

Don't know what half a blink is. But if you can, go and have a 2nd opinion. I got told I had dry eye and then got an optician friend to have a look and she couldn't see anything.
