Dry eyes in green bay?

if Brett Favre announced (hopefully he never will) hes hanging them up, how many dry eyes will be in green bay?

I don't think that there would be many, he has done a lot for Green Bay and has been loyal to the team and town fro quite sometime and the people and fans of Greenbay know and respect that I think

Two, and they'll both belong to Aaron Rodgers.

i think it will take about two-three seasons before the packer fans even begin to realize that he isn't playing anymore.

Well I know I will be for one, and a lot of the Green Bay fans will be aswell. However, we are all appreciative for what he has done for the team and for us Packer fans. When he retires I just hope that we don't drop to a bottom team with the Dolphins or anything, and we have a good starting quarterback ready to step up and make a play.

I don't think he will retire just yet, he'll have atleast one more season and hopefully he can bring the Lombardi trophy home to where it belongs.

He will be missed, but I believe the fans will understand if he decides his time has come to hang up the cleats. I personally think he has one more season, and that could only be a good thing for A. Rogers.

There will be plenty of dry eyes and a lot of thanks yous being said. It will be a sad day but it should be a joyous one

Not thank you for retiring, but thank you for the memories, the wins, the records, and respect you brought to; the game, yourself, the team ,the city and your fans.

It will be joyous because he will beable to ride off into the sunset knowing he is a true legend of the game. He will finally beable to spend some quality time, and well earned, with his wife Deanna and his daughters.

As a Packer fan I hope Brett gives us a few more years. When he does hang up his shoulder pads it will be a loss to the team, but we will go on. When Bart Starr left people thought the team was through. It went on and the strong tradition of Packer ball too

I would try to wish him well with a smile but I don't think I could do it.Not that he doesn't deserve it because he does but he's been such a huge part of our gloried history it's hard to think of football without him.I hope he decides to give it one more shot but no matter what I personally will be a Brett fan forever. Go Pack!!!!!

He has to go sometime and he will but I think he'll come back for one last year . Packer fans know he's a great quarterback but sometimes I think that they won't really know how great until he's gone and we have to get along with a "mortal" one .
