My dog has dry eyes? |
My dog has got dry skin round his eye area and has scratched it and is now bleeding. I have washed them and applied some cream. Any ideas of what this might be? Thank you Just back from the vet my poor baby has conjunctivitis and possobly mites!! Thanks for youre help Could be any number of things including mange. I would suggest seeing your vet. Also be very very careful with what you apply around the eye as some may get in the eye and damage it. If the eye is squinting, tearing or very red I would call the vet ASAP. What sort of breed is it bud, some dogs get 'crusty' round the eyes sumtimes & that can cause irritation to em', best 2 clean it away so as 2 prevent further damage!..... Just hope a VET answers your question SHOOT IT! put it out of its missory! i would ask a vet whats wrong and please dont shoot it like someone said! Take it to a vet. A vet will help the most. Get him to the vet asap because a dog that I used to own started with dry skin on her legs and soon she was ripping all her fur out and making herself bleed like mad and it cost an absolute fortune. |
