Dry eye's from computer screen? |
i have an 8-hr a day job, 5 days a week, and i basically stare at a screen all day. i notice when i get home, or even now, that my eyes hurt horribly bad. i try eye drops, but that doesn't seem to do much. it almost feels like my eyes are burning. what can i do for them? you need to take periodic breaks from the screen. Buy refresh tears and they will help you out some. but the best thing to do is schedule regular breaks from the computer. You should have a few minutes out of every fifteen where you refocus on something else other than the screen, move your eyes and blink. I have suffered with dry eyes for years and it does make it worse to be starring at a computer for many hours. There is a prescription called Restasis that is suppose to help. I have used these MSM drops for years and they help me and they are natural. Put something cold on them, rest them and rest yourself, or take a nice long shower, It will feel good ;) Do change to other range of contacts like silicone range. They are the best. Not much dryness and high oxygen flow. Sum good ones are purevision, nite and day, o2 optix and biofinity |
