Can anyone in here NOT wear their contacts because you eyes get severly dry?? |
DOES ANY ONE HAVE THIS PROBLE??? yes i know i have asked alot of questions on this but im determined to find a cure!! sooo thankz 2 any1 who kan help me I can not wear contact lenses either due to the fact that they practically glue themselves to my corneas. I've tried every new brand that has come out that says they are for dry eyes, and I haven't found any that work for me. My eyes are very dry to begin with. I probably have chronic dry eye and would benefit from seeing the doctor about being put on Restasis drops (by Rx only) but I've been living with this for so long that it doesn't bother me that much, so long as I don't put contacts in. Many patients do not drink enough water to make tears. Have you tried that? I use an eye moisturizer sometimes to make it easier to put them on. One drop per eye and I'm all set! Yes, do consider getting lasik done if possible. wow. I thought I was alone on this subject! I have the same problem. I also am very determined. I go once a year for a contact exam, Pay a hundred dollars to get the latest greatest and they are always so dry, I even feel pain. I have tried rewetting drops and nothing works... If ever you find something that works for you let me know and I will do the same. Good Luck! |

I thought I had a contact left in my eye once, I went to the doctor... and there was not... I recommend to you a software which named eyeguarder(google it), it has been proved to be effective for protecting the eye.so excellent.Experiments have proved that, with the combination of the Eye... allergies! Your allerigic to something you smell or you've come in contact with some dust or something thats growing or blooming outside like weeds or flowers. Its something in the air your b... Vaseline works best for this problem! Just put it on right before you go to bed at night for about a week. ...I would go straight to a professional- eg a dermatologist or a qualified beauty therapist who can work out a skincare routine for your poor stressed out skin! The skin around your eyes is so delica... This isn't a personal recommendation but I have a friend using it and she says it's fab, she has excema too. ... |
