DRY eyes, sore behind eyes, left eye protruding, sinusews feel totally dry inside - HELP!!!!?
my left eye has been bugging out of my head and hurting for a week, also i am just getting over an upper respitory infection, now it hurts behind both eyes and my throat and lungs and sinuuses feel very empty and DRY, my md is sending me to an opthamologist tomorrow, im freaking out ! could this just be like some major sort of sinus infection? the opthamologist told me 1 1/2 months ago that my eyes are very healthy and fine and it has to be a medical issue but my md wont listen..... any input would be helpful thanks
1 hour ago - 3 days left to answer.

Well, I don't know what to tell you really but you said "any input would be helpful" so I figured I would tell you that some things similar to what you describe happened to me- randomly, out of the blue, my right eye was more open than the left, and then i realized it was because my right eye was sticking out further than the left! by a fraction of an inch, but it was noticeable to me-- i mean i could FEEL it, so it wasn't just noticeable by the looks of it. then my eye got a tic in it, and it would do it like every few hours. I'm a type 1 diabetic and have been for over half my life so I was freaking out thinking I was going to go blind or develop serious eye issues and that it was caused by the diabetes, so I went to my opthamologist and he told me it was NORMAL to have weird stuff randomly happen with eyes sometimes and that his brother had a tic in his eye that lasted for a year... so basically he was saying that freaky disturbances in normal eye function are actually something that is natural.
i thought it was a crock and he just wasn't doing his research, and my affliction lasted for nearly 6 months but then ceased. and i never really found out why or what had caused it. it was really odd.
so, lol, i don't know if that makes you feel any better but i hope so.

I have had the same situation, it isn't an inveftion, don't worry. It might go away in a few days. =)

i was gonna say find a doctor but if that doesn't help i suggest praying.
prayer changes things.

It sounds like you have a sinus infection, but I don't know about the eye protruding. It's common to get a sinus infection after a cold. Usually a sinus infection can feel like your eyes are protruding but they're not. Eye protrusion (proptosis) is not something that will be caused by a sinus infection or a cold. That is something else all on its own. You do need to go to the eye doctor if your eye is truly bulging.

Your symptoms other than the eye could be allergies too.
