My eyes are really, really dry. Any ideas? |
I wear contacts, and my eyes are constantly itchy and red, making me blink much more rapidly than normal, no matter what I do. I just recently stopped putting in a load of eye drops every night because it didn't help anything. Is there some way I could stop my eyes from being so dry? By the way, I do live in a pretty dry state if that has anything to do with it. having dry eyes could be caused by a lot of different factors. u said u live in a dry state, and that could be one reason. i notice that when i go out on hot days my eyes feel really dry with contacts on! there may be other reasons too so u should visit ur eye doctor. maybe u don't have the right type of contacts for ur eyes, maybe u have allergies, or maybe there's another health prob that causes dry/irritated eyes as a symptom. check it out with ur doctor and he/she should be able to help u better. good luck! maybe you should see your eye doctor. buy some visine and use it when your eyes feel dry go back to glasses |

having dry eyes could be caused by a lot of different factors. u said u live in a dry state, and that could be one reason. i notice that when i go out on hot days my eyes feel really dry with conta... go ahead and see if anything else works and see another doctor ...I'm not sure what solution you wre using before but most practices are moving towards recommending Opti-Free REPLENISH to almost every patient because it is such a good all around and comforta... soak green tea bags in hot water and let it cool off then place them on ur eyes it will help to drain the fluids under the eye also find out the causes over here and a quick tip ... When I work out, I sweat a lot and I am constantly wiping the sweat from my face. All that sweat gets in my eyes and really dries them out. If you perspire a lot, then that could be your problem. don't know that I'd use vaseline on your eyes, but lucas paw paw ointment is great for dry skin just about anywhere on your body. it's cheap too. might be a reaction to something... see doctor. why the hell were u using such thing near ur eye? did u read the label? u proberly got eye infection, or need some drop, see doctor, see optician, anyone ASAP!!! ...Sounds like you are just going to have to keep trying different brands in your left eye until you find something that is going to be comfortable. Do you remember what brand you wore before or what... |
