my eye doc told me i had dry eye syndrome about 2 yrs ago. i've been wanting to get contacts but he said no cuz of my dry eye. i wnated to get another opinion. i've seen commercials about advance concacts with hydorclear or something like that. would that work for my dry eye? P.S. my eyes don't act up as must as they used to.
There are contacts on the market that are made especially for dry eye patients (Cooper's ProClear lenses). Go ahead and ask your doctor about them (or get a second opinion), but be aware that not everyone can wear contacts. If your dry eye syndrome is severe, you aren't going to be able to find a doctor who will tell you that it's OK for you to wear contacts. |
