How to cure year around dry eyes, eye irritation, watery eyes and sensitivity to light? It sounds like you have allergies. The dr. might close up your tear ducts to help the dry eyes, and prescribe a allergy medicine. One thing you might also try is to not use Kleenex to wipe your eyes--you might have an allergy to the dyes or perfumes in them. Use a cloth hankie. you could have dry eyes. Sounds funny when they are watering but they are over producing moisture to counteract the dryness. You should see and ophthalmologist. They would be the best ones to answer you question. You could try any over the counter artificial tears The irritation, watery eyes, and sensitivity to light all stem from the underlying cause of dry eye. There are many treatments out there for dry eye and you should see an optometrist in order to determine what is best for you. For now, I'd recommend using a drop such as Systane Free. Even if this helps, you should still see an eye doctor because chronic use of over the counter drops could lead to your eyes becoming worse (due to the preservatives used). |
