What are the side effects of laser eye correction? What about dry eyes? Your eyes may have red splotches on them for a while. Dryness. Fluctuations in vision. Starburst type effect on lights at night (usually temporary). That's all of them that I know. Source(s): Had it done 6 months ago my mom had this done a couple of years ago. Now she's got better eyesight then I do with my contacts in! She had it done by a guy in Vancouver, BC, and has nothing but good things to say about it. Side effects: Better eyesight. My friend got dry eyes from laser eye correction. She was given gel drops. You can buy them at the store if you are suffering from dry eye. But, obviously, you should ask a doctor if you've had the procedure done and are experiencing dry eye. |
