Eye itching and dry?

My eye is dry, not forming much tears, and its itching in the corner of my eye. If I try to rub it, then it burns. I used some saline eye drops, and it did feel better. However, my coworker just took off with my eyedrops by accident. I think its just allergies, but how long should I wait before going to the doc in case its something else?

The eye also seems very sensitive to the air. And its also slightly swollen in the corner, but that could be from me rubbing it. Its also just in the one eye, the other one is definately allergy, slightly itchy, no problems with it being dry.

You could have pink eye or it could just be allergies.
I think it is best to go to the docter as soon as possible because you might end up not being able to drive because you cant see because your eye is swollen.
Your doctor can tell you what is wrong with your eye.

I hope your eye feels better.
Go to the drug store and get Optcon A eye drops. it works really well. If it doesn't get better in the next few days then go to the doc.
your tear ducts might be plugged =you will definatly need something to heal that=get more eye drops
