Dry Eyes- Contact Lenses? |
Ive had contact before but could only ware them for a couple of hours before I had to take them out due to dry eyes. Ive heard there's special contact lenses for dry eyes, can anyone recommend the best ones and an optician that sells them (in Britain, especially Glasgow)? There are some contact lenses for the person with dry eyes. ACUVUE OASYS Contact Lenses CIBA Vision: Clear View Contact Lenses, CSI Daily Wear Visitint Contact Lenses, CSI Flex Wear Contact Lenses, CSI Toric Contact Lenses, etc.. You can order online. Just go to http://www.lenscompare.com/search.php?pa... to compare. Good luck! Source(s): http://www.lenscompare.com/search.php?pa... Acuvue Not sure about over there, but in the states we have two contacts that are terrific for dry eyes. One is Proclear made by Coopervision, this one is actually FDA approved to improve dry eye symptoms and Acuvue Oasis which is new to the market but is proving to show "end of day" comfort far about the rest. Other than that, use artificial tears you can get them at any pharmacy an they are great for dry eye. Use them as much as you need to. Good Luck. Optometry Student |
