I have dry eyes when I am not wearing contacts. Is this normal? Or a sign of a problem? What should I do? I used to wear contacts and never experienced that. Consult your opthalmologist. consult with your opthalmologists. it may cause a serious infection in the future. If you are having dry eye problems without your contacts in you are equally probably having the same problems with them in but rewetting solutions are solving this problem for you. You NEED a certain amount of your own tear film to allow contacts to work properly as they tend to slid on your eye when you blink. . . dry eyes would hinder this and could cause you some serious corneal problems. You REALLY need to visit your eye Dr and have this issue addressed. 7yrs experience with Ophthalmologists/Optometrists as Office Assistant and OR Scrub |
