Remedy/solution for Red, dry eyes? |
I have been having problems with my eyes lately. Almost everyday, starting in the morning, but getting worse towards the evening (starting after supper) my eyes are very red (blood-shot), irritated, dry, and sometimes blurry (never itchy). Also, there are more than usual secretions (yellowy-white). I have been drinking 'bright eye' tea. It helped at first, but doesn't anymore. I've been drinking plenty of water, and taking higher dose of vitamin C, but still not better. Any natural healthy recommendations? Thank you! Sounds like you have a viral infection in your eyes. My professional advise is that you take yourself to a doctor and he/she will give you a prescription for "Terramycin", or some other ophthalmic ointment. The longer you fool around with natural product the worse it will get. A viral infection of the eyes is not going to be cured by natural products. My concern is that you say, "yellow-white" secretions". If not treated quick it will turn to green pus. And you will require a higher mg., of antibiotics and have to take for a longer period of time. Clinicaly Psychiatrist, France Excuse my english. get eyedrops from the doctor youre perscription Visine. it gets the red out! are you in the haze region too? usually eye drops work for me, for a while at least, before I rinse and repeat :) |
