Are there special contact lenses for dry eyes?

Are there special contact lenses for dry eyes?

I don't think you should be wearing contacts.. at least temporarily.

I used to wear contacts then decided to get lasik. I am fair skinned and blue eyed and wearing contacts for so long I had a lot of blood vessels growing in my eyes and I could never find comfortable lenses. The doctor told me to drink lots of water and wear glasses for 6 months before being fit enough to have lasik.

Contacts are evil if you start to wear them young.
I started in 7th grade and am 24 now. Treat your eyes good.
I had a problem with dry eyes too. My optometrist told me its because I wasn't drinking enough water. She actually said she had never seen eyes so dry on someone my age. Start drinking a lot more water and it should help with your dry eyes. I think they do make contact lenses that contain more moisture but you'll have to talk to your eye doctor.
yes! there are so many options now!have you worn contacts before?if you didn't try them successfully before, chances are there have been lots of new ones developed since then. i worked in an eye dr office for 5 yrs and the changes just during that time span was unbelievable!call your dr and make an appt! just FYI,focus dailies are my #1 choice!!! they were the only kind i could wear comfortably before i had lasik!
