Anybody out there have a problem with dry eyes? If so plz let me know what I can do. I'm miserable!?

I am in complete agreement with "helper." I knew a woman many years back who had Sjogren's syndrome. It affected her liver (primarily), but she also had dry mouth and dry eyes. She couldn't even produce tears of her own, that's how bad it was. She had to use eye drops several times a day and wear goggles 24 hours a day (they looked like swim goggles, but tinted dark because she was sensitive to light).

Definitely ask your doctor to run tests for Sjogren's syndrome. Constant dry eyes is not normal. In the meantime, use an eye drop "tears" type solution. I use Bausch and Lomb's Rewetting solution. It's not like Visine...it's more like saline. Very similar to the natural tears you produce. Oh, that's a question: are you able to produce tears of your own?

Please don't put off going to the doctor. Dry eyes cause more than annoyance and discomfort...it can lead to corneal ulcerations if left untreated.

Go to your eye doctor it could cause blindness. My friend has this and is losing her eye sight.
Look for TEARS NATURALLE. This will help.

A dry eye problem is actually very common and many treatments are in the works. Your optometrist should be able to help you deal with you dry eye. Look up and ask about options such as punctal plugs, drops/gels, taking omega-3. Good luck!
